There is a national salary and benefits survey that is presently in the data collecting stage. It is collecting data on salaries and benefits from all types of museums and from all job levels. All six of the nation's regional museum associations (MPMA, WMA, AMM, NEMA,.SEMC, MAAM) are conducting a regional Salary & Benefits Survey that will be compiled into a National Survey Report. The Salary & Benefits Survey will be for museums all over each region and throughout the country. Survey participants will receive a complimentary Salary Survey. When all of the regions complete their surveys, data from these will be compiled into a national survey which should be ready by the end of 2011. If you would like to participate in this survey, contact your regional museum association. I represent the MPMA regional museum association which covers these 10 states: Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming. All of the regional museum associations cover multiple states. Does anyone know where I can access that information?
