Two artists come immediately to mind:
1) Thornton Dial - His work includes assemblages of 'found materials' though
I'm not sure if any of his sculptures hang from the ceiling.
2) Petah Coyne - She creates large-scale mixed media sculptures, many of
which hang from the ceiling. Materials include wax, ribbons, flowers, and
taxidermy birds, which you may or may not consider found or recycled!

Hope that helps!
