Hi Casandra,
Kids love tractors. Wonder if you can have a farming theme or a ranch theme with stationary tractors?
Let us know what you come up with.

Hello fellow listers!

My museum is undertaking a major landscaping project which will include a children's play area.  The initial idea was to use one of those pre-fab plastic things, but I would rather have (or at least incorporate) something history themed.  I have done several google searches, which have mostly yielded the same few historic themes.  We are located in S.E. Texas, so a castle, pirate ship, covered wagon, etc. wouldn't be appropriate for us.  A railroad might, or a cowboy/ ranching theme, but that's all I can come up with.  Anyone know of a good *unusual* history-themed outdoor play area that they would recommend we look at for ideas?  Thanks in advance.
