Robert,

You may wish to check with your museum educators for ideas on how to use "at
home" volunteers. Over the years I have had at home volunteers make a lot of
the hands-on artifacts that were used in educational programs. Many of the
projects were for volunteers with wood-working or sewing skills. I've also
used them for editing or writing educational materials.
