I recently read The Facebook Marketing Book by Dan and Allison Zarella as it was highly recommended from somewhere - was not terribly impressed, but does have a good comprehensive overview - but I suspect there are bunches of books like that out there. The most helpful single resource I have come across is the Networked Nonprofit by Beth Kanter and Alison Fine. The book is less of a how to on the mechanics and more of a building a total approach to social media. I have a quick blog entry on this book here: http://wp.me/pJf2X-8p Robert Robert P. Nash Museum at Chucalissa 1987 Indian Village Drive, Memphis, Tennessee 38109 901-785-3160, ext. 15 Associate Professor, Anthropology The University of Memphis 38152 901-678-3331 http://www.memphis.edu/chucalissa/ http://rcnnolly.wordpress.com/ The mission of the C.H. Nash Museum at Chucalissa, a division of the University of Memphis, is to protect and interpret the Chucalissa archaeological site's cultural and natural environments, and to provide the University Community and the public with exceptional educational, participatory, and research opportunities on the landscape's past and present Native American and traditional cultures. We're not interested in pursuing advertising through FB, but we would certainly like to increase our FB and website traffic and visibility.
