Hi Colleagues,
I am writing on behalf of a client who is looking for an art investigator or detective; someone well-versed with provenance research and/or mid (20th) century art.

My client (a museum) owns a piece by a well-known artist, but has come across some problems authenticating it because a small piece is missing. They are looking for someone to sort through the paper trail and try to determine the fate of this missing piece, so the work can be officially registered with the artist's foundation. My client is located in the Midwest, but persons from across the country will be considered.

If you would like to be considered for this--or know someone who can help--please email me at [log in to unmask] (or this email, [log in to unmask]).

Thanks; I am looking forward to hearing from you.
