*The Wright Museum*

The Wright Museum in Wolfeboro N.H. is a non-profit educational institution
dedicated to celebrating Americans’ sacrifices and achievements during WWII.
The museum’s mission is to preserve and share the stories of America’s
Greatest Generation for the benefit of generations to come. To fulfill this
mission, The Wright Museum collects, cares for, and exhibits artifacts
illustrating the heroic efforts of ordinary people during extraordinary
times, the period from 1939 – 1945.

*Description:*

The Executive Director will manage all the Museum's operations, including
employees, volunteers and outside vendors. Officed at the museum itself in
Wolfeboro, N.H., the E.D. will report to the Board of Directors. This is a
full-time position.

Competitive salary and benefits will be offered in line with prior
experience.

*Requirements:*

The successful candidate will be a self starter with 10 – 15 years related
museum experience. A passion for the museum’s historical period and mission
is imperative. A successful record of fund raising, and excellent community
relations is a must. A global view of the museum and its mission is needed
to grow our membership and finances. Must be a good ambassador at large and
manager of people. Must also have a good working knowledge of non-profit
accounting and financial reporting.
