We are in the process of accepting a large collection of pharmaceuticals, and I was wondering if there was a guideline for materials that were hazardous to your collections/staff.

Or if there was a guide for accepting botanical based artifacts into your collections.
Some of the items on the list I know are bad: flowers of sulphur, Coal tar, etc..
It's a rather large collection of botanical based pharmaceuticals housed in glass jars, paper boxes, or metal (rusted) canisters. Some examples of items on the list: Wild Cherry Bark, Wormwood herb, Gum Olibanum, Fennel Seed, Chinese Rhubarb, Fuller's Earth, Flowers of Sulphur, Bone Black, etc..
We want to put some of these on exhibit, and the rest will be housed in the collections storage area.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!
