Director of Development, New York City Area Museum
For our New York City area museum client, we are seeking a Director of Development.  The successful applicant will be part of the senior management team and be responsible for a strategic approach to fundraising and attracting resources for the annual fund, membership, sponosorships, individual giving and major gifts. Responsibilities include creation, implementation and oversight of all development programs; grant writing, and cultivating and maintaining long-term individual donor relations;  The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in development at a museum or cultural organization with a focus on the arts; a track-record of proven fundraising, particularly at the individual level; experience working with boards, and outstanding communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.  BA required. Salary DOE with excellent benefits.
