The Adler Planetarium, Chicago, IL, is seeking a Film Project Intern to assist in the day-to-day project management for an internal film project. This is an unpaid internship beginning in
October, 2010 through July 31, 2011. Some weekend or evening work is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day project management for an internal film project;
- Create and maintain a production schedule;
- Coordinate and facilitate on-site filming;
- Act as a liaison between internal departments within the Adler and an outside production company.
Experience and Education:
- Current film student with experience is preferred;
- Must possess outstanding project management and communications skills;
- Must have the ability to work independently;
- Must have some understanding of the film production process.
