Janelle, in early 2009, I queried this membership and asked them a number of
employment-related questions in order to assist museum candidates. I compiled
their responses and updated them in February of 2009 to the MuseJobs files
section. They can be found with titles starting "Hiring Help," and there are 3
files. One indicates what a candidate should/should not do, interview pointers,
and resume help. You may wish to look at these three PowerPoint files, which can
be found here.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Resume Assistance/Job Search Tips

I am a recent graduate of the Museum Communication Program of the University of
the Arts in Philadelphia. I graduated in December and have had trouble finding
a job in the relative field. I was wondering if anyone would be able to take
the time to lend some advice with my resume to determine if there is something I
could do to make my experience more noticeable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
