I always use an Olfa knife for things like foam core. X-acto blades and knifes I use only for small delicate curvy complex cuts in thin material like paper. Olfa knives come in two size and have break-off blades: 1) OLFA Standard Cutter 300 (see http://www.utrechtart.com/dsp_view_product.cfm?item=83056) and 2) 2) Olfa Heavy Duty Snap Off Retractable Knife ( http://www.utrechtart.com/dsp_view_product.cfm?item=41524) The good thing about these is that you simply snap off the used blade to get a new sharp one. They're great for straight line cuts (with a good metal straight edge) and generous arcs. James On Thu, Jul 22, 2010 at 1:24 PM, Meg Justus <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hi, all.
