Help teachers justify time and money for field trips by learning more about what they and their students need for a high quality, out-of-the-classroom experience. Sign up for AASLH's 2010 Visitors Count! education survey group and let us help you survey teachers.

Participation in Visitors Count! offers these important benefits:

  1. Valuable information and data that allows you to incorporate teachers' wants and needs into planning, development, and marketing of your education programs as well as offering justification for funding requests.
  2. Use of a proven survey instrument – no staff time spent trying to design a survey.
  3. Customized survey instrument with your museum’s name, logo, and three questions specific to its situation.
  4. Benchmarks that compare your results with other museums and sites that have taken part in the program – no other program offers this valuable benefit!
  5.  Affordable payment plan – most institutions can pay the fee over two fiscal years ($3,500 members; $4,200 non-members).
Institutions that take part in the one-year program collect up to 100 surveys from teachers who bring their class for an on-site program between late September 2010 and May or June 2011 (depending on when the school year ends in your area).

The 2010 survey group begins August 16. To sign up or to request a more detailed program overview, contact me at [log in to unmask] or at 573.893.5164.
