Chief Preparator

The Chief Preparator is responsible for the layout, installation, and preparation of art objects for temporary exhibitions, traveling exhibitions, traveling loans, and for collection displays. Requires minimum 3 years preparator-related work in a museum; 2 years minimum supervisory experience; building construction knowledge and experience; MA degree in studio fine arts or related field. Museum mount-building experience preferred. Starting salary, $35,000 - 38,000.
