The Montpelier Foundation seeks a highly motivated professional to manage The Madison Cabinet, Montpelier’s premier donor society, and its overall major gifts program. We seek a proven, experienced development professional who can implement a wide range of fundraising strategies within a multi-faceted development program and increase major gift support for all of The Montpelier Foundation’s programs. Working directly with The Montpelier Foundation President and reporting to the Vice President of Development, the ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be a team player with a record of securing major gifts.

 

Bachelor's degree, five or more years of direct fundraising experience, and a demonstrated record of success required. Must be willing to travel, have exemplary writing skills, be an effective communicator, exhibit strong initiative, have tact and judgment, be self-directed, creative and motivated.  This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects at one time.
