Greetings,
A graduate student intern is organizing and documenting the archives of a local boarding school. He is currently using a Word document to describe and catalogue everything he finds. Eventually, however, the school would like to produce a book based on their history, and I feel that the Word document will likely be a bit unwieldy for future researchers/authors.

I was wondering if you might have suggestions on a simple database for this sort of work. Something like FileMaker Pro? Microsoft Access? Would PastPerfect work in this sort of situation? (There are some materials, such as photographs and blueprints, that we might want to include in this database, and it would be great for the database to have image upload capability).

Thanks for your suggestions,
