Sometimes people get intimidated by the idea of evaluating a program or an
exhibit by observing visitors-how to go about it, how to blend in, what to
record, etc. But, it's such a wonderful evaluation tool! How do others
conduct observations of visitors in their exhibits or interpretive programs?

 

If you are interested in evaluation and would like to participate in this
discussion, consider joining the American Association for State and Local
History's Visitors' Voices evaluation and audience research affinity group. 

 

Visitors' Voices brings together AASLH members, and others, who are
interested in evaluation and audience research in history institutions.
Whether you are just getting started in visitor research or you're an
experienced researcher - or somewhere in the middle - you are welcome to
join us! Membership is FREE, and open to everyone; you do not have to be an
AASLH member.
