Hello –
We have a jar of nail polish from the
1940s that is part of a potential donation. A lot of the solvent has
evaporated, probably through the plastic screw-on top, but the polish is still a
very thick liquid. Should I have any concerns about the safety of this wee amount
of stuff? Reading an MSDS on acetone, the likely solvent, I see it’s
pretty benign aside from being flammable. Any other components I should worry
about? Any storage precautions?
