I'm having some issues trying to figure out the best solution for our kitchen. It's a historic (Civil War) detached kitchen with separate living space. Currently, it's fully open daily to the public and groups. On occasion, volunteers will do historic cooking demonstrations, which always gives it a nice touch. My director is uneasy that the items in the kitchen are "unsecure," but he also would like there to be some demonstration activity there when possible. Since it's not technically manned, it is open for things to be taken or used in an appropriate manner. However, if things are "glued" down, how can demonstrations be done? He doesn't like the idea of ropes or plexi there either. I just can't see a solution. Does anyone have thoughts?
