Annual Conference, Building
Shared Agendas: Conversations on the Public Value of Visitor Studies.
UPDATE: Discounted Early
Bird registration rates
have been extended until June 4!
The Conference: July
29-31, 2010
What are the hot
issues facing museums today? Fulfilling our missions? Making an impact
on
museum operations? Building interdepartmental collaboration? Visitor
studies
can be instrumental in bringing solutions to these critical issues.
This year’s
conference will provide a forum for conversations about public value
and
museums, through individual sessions, panels, and roundtable
discussions. New this year, the conference will
feature Discussants
and daily Town Hall sessions, where we will hold exciting conversations
between
attendees and leaders in the field that integrate the key themes of
public
value that emerge from the conference. For
