Hi Monica,

If you haven't already, you could utilize social networking tools like
facebook and twitter to keep members and visitors updated as well.

Good luck,

Mike

renovations

Hi Monica,

One thing to consider is a mobile web app that your visitors and nonvisitors
could download and have on their phones that would allow you to push new
content to them periodically while you're closed.

Best,

Robin

The Allentown Art Museum will close for 4 months during renovation. We are
a stand-alone museum, with a collection of approx. 14,000 items. How did you
maintain visibility during the closure (eg., off-site exhibits,
programming), store collections ( on-site and off-site), use staff most
effectively, and maintain revenue sources?

We have a list of questions and would like to interview (telephone or email)
several similarly sized museums to help us plan for our closure.
