This class will provide students with a practical approach to preserving large groups of records housed in repositories and can significantly benefit an institution, regardless of its size or scope.

 

Understanding Digital Photographs, (Live Online) 04/13/2010

This class introduces the nature of digital photographs, including the process and composition of scanned and "born digital" images.

 

Introduction to Grants for Preservation, (Live Online) 04/14/2010

This class introduces grant funding and the process of writing a grant proposal.

 

Developing a Disaster Plan, (Live Online) 04/15/2010 with follow-up 4/22 and 4/29

This web-based class is designed to support the work of an institution's disaster planning committee.

 

These classes are funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access.
