The USATODAY online has an interesting piece on a Georgia Church's plan to relocate a closed church building from Buffalo, NY to Norcross, Georgia. This is not a simple chapel, but rather a large stone classical style church building. The article does a good job of looking at the viewpoint of the community that is losing the building, and the reason for the church in Georgia wanting to move it.

I have mixed feelings on it myself. I hate to see a beautiful building moved, but having grown up in an area (northern Michigan) that depopulated, I have seen great church buildings sit vacant and rot, until they were demolished. Any thoughts from the CRM community on this?
