hi Ms. Cortell, My small museum and archives has been the truly lucky recipient of one NEH grant (making use of Preservation Assistance Grants for Small Institutions program) and we are currently waiting to hear regarding a second application. This program has been a great help to us in paying for projects that we ordinarily would not be able to fund ourselves. I realize that what would help us - a General Operating Support grant not tied to a specific project and of any size - is probably a pie in the sky type of assistance, but it would be of great help to us and, I'm sure, many other small institutions.
