Museum Educator. Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens, an art collector’s personal museum located in Washington, DC, seeks a motivated museum educator for part-time, contract work (approximately 2 - 3 days per month, primarily weekends).  This educator assists with Hillwood’s Girl Scout programs, other youth and family activities, festivals, and adult programs by providing support to program presenters, interacting with museum visitors, and facilitating art projects and other hands-on activities.

The position requires a dynamic teaching presence, excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, experience with children and the public, and reliable availability on weekends.  Studies in museum education or a related field preferred.
