Thank you to all who replied, I am just getting started on assessing the collections here as I only started on Monday at CHS.  I will respond to each of you individually as soon as I have a better idea of what the collection consists of.  I really appreciate everyone's input.  This list is great!  Have a great weekend.

Hi Shelley,

I have no direct experience with moving a collection, but I do know that the Durham Western Heritage Museum in Omaha, NE. has quite a large photo archive.  Unfortunately, it has been a few years since I've connected with the staff there, so I don't have great contact info for you. In any case, this is their staff list http://durhammuseum.org/about/staff.aspx.

Best,

Hello everyone,
