This daylong session is geared toward small institutions with limited staff, and for sites that rely on volunteers for part or all of their collections care, maintenance and housekeeping functions.
Registration is open to anyone who has collections care, maintenance or administrative duties or to those who are seeking professional development, including interns and graduate students.

Highlights:

•    Why does your institution need one?
•    How to create a site-specific plan
•    Monitoring, trapping and identifying insects
•    How to prevent an infestation in your collection
•    What to do if you have an infestation
Conservator Gwen Spicer of Spicer Art Conservation, LLC and Erin Crissman, Curator at The Farmers’ Museum and former Historic Cherry Hill curator developed this workshop. It is funded through an IMLS Leadership for the 21st Century grant and in partnership with Upstate History Alliance.  This is the final of 6 workshops held throughout the state - don't miss your last chance at this free professional development opportunity!
