Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Comprehensive
Collections Policy
The Historical Society that I work
for is currently revising our collections policy. Our current policy has
information regarding the accession, deaccession, loans of objects, etc. The
current policy reflects our museum and archival collections, but we also have a
library collection, oral history collection and folklife collections that we
want to include in the new policy. Does anybody have a good example of a
collections policy that incorporates a variety of collections like this?
Thanks
