We have had some success at annual ALHFAM meetings and with our
synagogue's religious school in doing "Jeopardy"-type competitions.
It's a lot of fun, and, since virtually everyone knows how the game is
played, you don't have to spend a lot of time explaining the concept
or the rules.

What will take the time, of course, is coming up with the questions
and answers, but that, too, could be a great way to get community
involvement by asking for questions and answers related to local
history and coming up with an incentive for doing so.

Good luck!
