We allow volunteers to keep, by request
only, a bottle of water behind the information desk. The volunteer is allowed
to drink it behind the desk only; otherwise, they must go to their break room.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] in search of
policy that permits eating/drinking within museum
Dear Listers,
We seek examples of policy where volunteers are permitted to eat or drink in a
designated spot within museum walls, yet where no kitchen or break room exists.
All ideas welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Clare Flemming
