The Clarke Co. (VA) Hist. Assoc. is setting up a new museum in 3 rooms on the first floor of our headquarters.  Right now, in the third exhibit room, there will be a small corner (3'x3') that they want to put up a small  display of the books, brochures & stationary that we sell.
Is there a blog/website, etc. that has tips on running a small shop, logistics on exhibiting items for sale? The main problem with its site is that there is no separation between the visitors viewing the exhibit and the shop, so we want to find out the best way to do this so there is minimal distraction.  The only other place possible would be to hang racks on the walls just inside the front door, which could impede movement and also be a distraction since that room is the first exhibit room also. There is a separate archives library, but there is no space available there. Any help appreciated.
