It’s not clear to me what
your season / whole season means, but I think I can still offer a suggestion
for your question.
If not a discounted rate, here
are other ideas: one free chaperone, something cheap from your gift shop (candy
stick, pencil, postcard), teacher being entered in a prize drawing.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Incentives to book early
Hi all,
We are starting to book our school groups for the
spring. One issue we have is schools calling last minute to book a trip
(i.e. can we come next week?). To try to avoid this, we are offering some
incentives. For instance, we are offering a discount if you book for the
last two weeks of April.
One thing we are trying to determine is if you book by March
15th (for May/June), what can we do as an incentive or perk?
We can’t discount our whole season, but we don’t want an surge of
reservations the day before we open for the season. If anybody has any
ideas, I would appreciate it.
