The MA Program in Museum Professions at Seton Hall University is looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach a  course in "Writing for Museums." The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the various writing styles that are used in museum work. The course focuses on such projects as the writing of labels, wall texts, grant proposals, (grant) reports, business letters, educational materials, PR materials, etc. It is scheduled for spring 2009, Monday nights from 6:15 to 8:25 PM. The semester runs from January 12 to April 29, with an exam week during the first week of May. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, NJ, which is a 35 minute-train ride from Penn Station, New York.
