Hello All:

We are currently trying to re-install a mail crane in our gallery. The crane (with its mailbag) was first installed in 1991, and was removed a few years later. Unfortunately, there isn’t anyone around who can remember how everything attaches. Is there anyone who has a mail crane currently on exhibit (or a photograph of a past exhibit) who is willing to take a few photos to share? I’ve seen the still photo and video of a mail crane on the National Postal Museum website (http://www.postalmuseum.si.edu/museum/1d_mail_crane.html), but the photo is too far away from the crane, and the crane is not similar enough to ours to help.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Sincerely,

Amanda Dyer
