I'm having trouble with this copyright thread and admit my ignorance on the matter.  For those of us who "believe" I'm thinking God owns the ultimate copyright.  How could it be that one person goes someplace and takes or paints a picture and then anyone who sees it and goes to the same place and takes or paints a new pictures is violating copyright?  I would think, in some measure, you would want people to come to your institution, see things, and be inspired.  I know there's the whole money thing, but esoterically, this just doesn't make sense to me.
