The Museum Discussion list is for the discussion and sharing of information,
thoughts, and questions regarding museum topics.
I have been on this list since 1994 and every time someone has posted a
purely political topic it has led, unfortunately, to flame wars, anger, and
disputation.

Like any public discussion list with thousands of members there is a wide
spectrum of personal opinions. Everyone is certainly entitled to their
political, social, and religious beliefs and opinions - there are many other
forums online for sharing those.

So please endeavor to think before you post on here because the spirit of
collegiality can be a fragile thing.

Cheers!
Dave
