Is this to keep the volunteer from holding the institution responsible for any mishaps? Or to protect the volunteer from fiscal damage from any institution mishaps? We've gone from extremes of nothing to one that is so restrictive of volunteer's rights that a common visitor has more than they do if they sign it. Looking for a common, friendly language middle ground. Any examples would be gratefully appreciated.
