New this year:  History Museum Volunteer Scholarship 

 

The Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program of the Mountain-Plains Museums Association provides financial assistance to students, museum staff and volunteers in the MPMA region to attend MPMA's annual museum conference. The conference provides the perfect opportunity for museum professionals and those new to the field to expand their knowledge, network and share their experiences with like-minded people from across the region.

All-Day Disaster Planning Workshop

Funding is provided by MPMA’s Silent /Live Auctions from the 2007 conference and from a generous donation from the Winedale Seminar Alliance.  Funding for the History Museum Volunteer Scholarship is provided by Claudia and Bob Brown.

MPMA's Annual Conference - Meeting in the Middle - in 2008  is in Kansas City, MO.  Mark your calendars now since this is a LATE OCTOBER Date. 
The conference is scheduled for October 21-25, 2008, at the Hotel Phillips in Kansas City, Missouri. MPMA will collaborate with the Association of Midwest Museums Association. The conference will be Twice the Size! Twice the Fun!
