The Adler Planetarium is seeking a part-time IBEX Intern, Multimedia, to develop and maintain web-based multimedia projects.  This position will report to the Director of Media and the IBEX Project Lead.  This internship will begin in May, 2008 and will
end in June, 2009.

Duties and Responsibilities
  - work with staff to develop, evaluate, revise and maintain the IBEX website
  - work with staff to develop, evaluate revise and deliver IBEX multimedia projects, including web interactives, exhibition and CD-ROM projects

Education and Experience
  - one to two years of experience developing multimedia projects with an emphasis on website development
  - extensive experience with HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and Microsoft Office
  - familiarity with one scripting language, such as Python, Perl, or PHP
  - experience with database development using, for example, MySQL
  - experience working with the Zope/Plone or Drupal content management system is a plus

The hourly wage is $11.00.
