I was also going to say vinyl lettering. Also it comes in a HUGE variety of colors and textures and can be made in just about any size/ shape. It is pretty standard at sign/graphics shops and they may also be able to install for you. .

Hi, Rebecca - Try using vinyl lettering. You should be able to send the text to a local print house that offers the service. Bonus: it tends to be inexpensive!
