The cat will take charge. You will not need to worry about that decision.

He/she will inform you of when feeding and scooping is necessary by doing all of the things you have tried to teach it not to do.

They will pay for themselves, at least in the sense of office enjoyment, assuming no one is allergic. You will all become deft at shielding your keyboards from their curious attentions.
