For the edification of those of us who are not familiar with the toy - what exactly is in the Atomic Energy Lab. It sounds like something that Homeland Security would be interested in.

  Hello!

For an upcoming summer exhibition "The Dangerous and Daring Exhibition for Kids" we are trying to locate a 1950s Gilbert Atomic Energy Lab and /or a c.1919 Gilbert Toy Machine Gun to borrow as a LOAN. We have located the Energy lab in collections, but have thus far been unable to secure a loan of this item. Does anyone know of a private collector or museum that might be willing to loan us the item for a few months? We would coordinate shipping and insurance. These items would make an exceptional addition to our exhibition!

If anyone has an "Atomic Energy Lab" kit by any other manufacturer, we would be open to that as well!

Please feel free to contact me off list.

  Thank you,

  Kristie Dobbins
