Probably in relation to one of the several threads concerning science and "Intelligent Design", or the Creation Museum. Many of us got pretty philosophical.

I agree the Sagan quote is maximally succinct. It should be noted that the corollary is also true... "The fact that something cannot be proven false is no evidence whatsoever that it is true." (most recently attributed to Richard Dawkins)
