Engaging Your Community/ Putting Words into Practice – a major training seminar focussing on partnership work with adult community groups under the aegis of the UK *Group for Education in Museums* ( http://www.gem.org.uk/ ). This exciting opportunity is hosted by the Causeway Museum Service in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. It offers a great chance to engage with innovative best practice and with some of the leading practitioners in the field. There is a range of tours looking at actual practice on the ground. The cost of the seminar is only £30 (not including meals); the main hotel sits near the World Heritage Site Giant's Causeway and there is a range of other reasonably-priced accommodation. The area is about an hour from Belfast International Airport and a good base from which to explore more widely.
