We pay our hourly employees time and one-half for a holiday, full time employees start at 32 hours a week. Salary employees are giving a "comp day" later in the week if the department head approves it before the holiday.

I am interested in finding out what basis is used to determine what your
museum pays non-exempt, hourly employees for working on holidays. Is it
time and one-half, double time, either one of these plus holiday pay,
offering a re-scheduled holiday, or any combination of the above? Your
responses are most appreciated.
