Position: Archives Technician Internships –6 available
Duration: One 20-week/800 hours internship; four 12-week (480 hours) internship; and one 10 week/400 hours internship available.
Salary: A stipend of $12.00/hour. Income taxes are not withheld and are the responsibility of the intern(s).

Job Summary: Interns will work at the South Florida Collections Management Center (SFCMC) which manages the 5.1 million objects, specimens and archival documents from Big Cypress National Preserve,
Qualifications: Applicants must possess education in museum studies or archives management. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn are important. Applicants must have experience in using a variety of computer software, and the ability to present oral and written information in a clear and concise manner to complete cataloging and collection documentation.
