Hello, all-- This semester I am teaching a class on "Curating, Collecting and Connoisseurship." One of the assignments is an interview with a museum professional, in which the students devise a list of questions, conduct a phone interview with someone working in the field, and then summarize the major points of the conversation in a class presentation. Is anyone out there willing to be interviewed by a college student hoping to learn more about what it's really like to work in a museum? Thank you in advance for your willingness to help--some of you may remember that I posted a similar query a couple of years ago. As always, list members generously responded, and it was a great class exercise.
