I'd check with your local gas fireplace installer. Often it is a propane gas
company or fireplace/stove retailer. In addition to gas logs they also have
artificial coal for hob grates and the like.

Subject: Fake Coal?

Does anyone know where to get fake coal? I have a coal scuttle that I'd
*love* to fill up, but don't have any idea where even to start on something
like this!

Thanks,

Catherine Dean
