Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and professional Exhibition and Retail Assistant with 2-4 years of experience to provide oversight and supervise general merchandise operations of satellite store, audio guide rental operations, act as a general office assistant and support the Exhibition Director. The position is based in the BODY WORLDS office at The Milwaukee Public Museum in Milwaukee and requires an individual who can work on the sales floor, as well as in an office and museum setting. The Assistant Exhibition Director & Retail Manager reports directly to the Exhibition Director and to the National Retail Director. BODY WORLDS is looking for a team player, someone with energy that will respond to management requests promptly and in a manner that is consistent with the professional business acumen of the BODY WORLDS. This person should be an independent thinker, resourceful and proactive. Duties & Responsibilities Assistant Director duties: · Assist the Exhibition Director in assigned tasks · Implement, conduct and report results of visitor surveys · Provide support to onsite marketing and media staff as needed · Provide support to offsite operations and logistics staff as needed · Provide administrative support (ordering office, store and audio rental supplies) · Oversee management of audio guide rentals · Manage and fulfill incoming inquiries · Weekly excel reports consist of multiple reports and summary · Oversee and train temporary staff as needed · Assist with off-site trade show booth support or other promotional activities Retail management duties: · Oversee management of retail store · Check in and process new merchandise · Supervise the display of goods, sales, etc. · Advise NA Retail Manager of shortages, changes, high/low selling items, etc. · Weekly excel reports consist of reports and summary · Fulfill online store orders and maintain reporting structures Required Qualifications 2-4 years of related experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience Excellent spoken and written communications An undergraduate degree, BA/BS, preferred High level of computer skills including Excel, Word Processing, and knowledge of database software Working knowledge of HTML (not required but preferred) Experience working a POS system (not required but preferred) Ability to attend meetings Comply with Company Policies Able to lift 25lbs Available to start as soon as possible Please submit resume and cover letter via e-mail to Linden Roberts at [log in to unmask] Please do not contact the Milwaukee Public Museum directly.Linden Roberts LLC [log in to unmask] ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
