(Fine Art/Cultural History)

Registrar:  New Jersey State Museum seeks a registrar for Fine Art/Cultural History bureaus.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cataloguing, storing, inventorying and monitoring collections, arranging incoming/outgoing loans and processing rights and reproduction requests.  Requires experience with proper methods of handling, storing, packing and transporting of collection objects.  Computer database experience is also required.  Requires M.A. in American Studies, Art History or Museum Studies and one year experience working with fine and decorative arts collections.  Position also requires occasional weekend duties.  Background check is required.  Salary $45,445.  Send resume and list of references by November 9, 2007 to:  Margaret O’Reilly, Asst.
